The pivot ends on the 14kw 273 motor are particularly large, and the motor wide. The speed of rotation and the mass of the wheel unfortunately prohibit the use of conventional pivot bolts and nuts. Hence a new swingarm must be fabricated to hold the new motor.
The new design [pictured below] needs to be checked by a specialist, sure it will probably be modified do to a change of geometry on the suspension strut. A new swingarm clamp must also be fabricated in CNC. Made 2 designs for the clamp in 3D, but fancy the rounded one personally because it has less mass than the square design. Oh well, need to see which one has more mechanical potential.
