I have been thinking abut charging ports. To ensure the unit can be used on roads it is probably sensible to pick a port that is used on 32A 7kw UK charge stations. Looking at cars it seems that most use IEC62196 type 2 nowadays (7 pins). The car socket being male and the gun/plug being female.
