Great light today, thought it word be a good opportunity to take a step back and have a look at the old bike to observe it from a distance. Being stuck in the garage I’m often working up close and never get to see how it looks from a ‘normal’ street level perspective.
Social media friends have suggested a 1.5 inch rear rise. I think they are along the right lines here, with a rider it’ll squat. So ultimately I think I need to compensate for the rider suspension drop. Which I think is about 35-40mm maybe. Bit more for a fat old bugger like me.
Edit: have just checked, tis 27-30mm drop at the swingarm pivot with rider (static). So I think 40 will be a decent target to add a wee bit of angle to it.
