Voltage Aesthetic

Engine & Tank vs’ Battery/Controller & Motor

For a while I have been okay with the controller cover. However lazy I am, I feel the need to try something different because it is starting to look just like a ICE bike with a fuel tank. I’m sure this is inoffensive but some exploration can’t hurt.

Because the controller box is welded together, the rubber booted voltage connection points are at the top and the only gap is at the base I have decided to reveal the heat sinks. Water showers should run off the panels and the cover and only complete submersion would technically allow water ingress.

I think the effect is interesting. It needs refinement, but it is good to try something different to differentiate it from the ICE/tank look.

Comparison of upper panels with heat sinks exposed and without heat sinks exposed are visualised below.
