The calipers that came with the forks needed some TLC to ensure the bike has some stopping power. The pistons were corroded into the calipers. A bit of heat released them easily. The pistons, bolts, and aluminium calipers were reusable. A chemical strip, clean, and polish were all that they needed. However the seals, pads, and pins, were renewed. Some etch priming and chip resistant paint and the job is near enough done. Just some bleed nipples and they are ready to mount on the forks once I’ve replaced the oil and dust seals and painted them.
