Started to think about a set of prototype cells to experiment with and use for initial testing, etc. Nissan leaf cells are very popular now-a-days, durable, and very easy to work with as you can just use threaded screws to link the cells together with busbars and bolt them together with all tread rods.

I have placed a 8 into CAD to see how this works out. fit in the frame nicely. Need to find second life a source in the UK to see if it is worth the hassle as people comment that they can be costly. Hopefully they will be cheaper on the second life market.

Also managed to find a Kelly controller in GrabCAD. Good to start placing all the components in as the hub motor is close to final delivery. Last time i heard it was in UK customs having dogs sniff it.
