Hub motorcycle temeratures

Interesting to look at electric Motorcycles from a thermal point of view. A recent post on Facebook took a termal map of an Evoke. In -5 degrees C ambient temperature in Beijing and the hottest part of the 2019 Evoke Urban S is only 26C on the hub motor after a brisk 20 minute ride. There seems to be some heat build-up around the headlight, battery and the upper panels area. The upper panels are potentially from the controller. Initially, I thought it might be body contact but contact areas where the body would be covered by garments such as the seat are cold. Grips are hot but direct and constant tranfer of heat from skin could cause this maybe. It would be nice to examine the architecture of the evoke one day to get a better understanding of what parts heated up in better detail.
