Battery cover panels

Managed to find some time to do some B-surface CAD and knock out some more panels to test fit. I suffered some issues with the printer which was eventually fixed after I had printed most of the job. I’d used the z-hop to make the printing more reliable but this cause ringing which is why the print came out with a lot of movement between the layers (put loads of lines on the surfaces).

Managed to break the top cover into 6 parts. The most important being the charger socket cover and cable management collar that sits on top. The reseing for the importance being because this area is where the cables are exposed in the top area of the battery box.

Have started to print some of the panels on the bottom. All in all I think I am 6 covers shy of a complete set to finish the first test panels.

  • 3 covers behind the front wheel (front of the battery)
  • 2 cover underside of the top covers
  • 1 cover at the front of the top covers

Below, 6 covers top battery covers. need to work on seals around the socket but fitment was good.
