Package check

Thought it good to revisit the technology package to check it as make sense to have most of the components in the CAD laid out accurately. Having looked again at the kit spec for the 8kw motor I find that the controller will need to be switched if I upgrade so best to do that now from a 500A to a 600A Kelly controller. Also a 24V DC-DC convertor is needed to power the headlamp. So will probably need to store a second 24v battery and run a 24vDC/DC convertor to it to charge it like an alternator. Then run a stepdown 24v to 12v DC/DC convertor from it to ensure that when the main power source is down the systems will still work.

Current critical component dimensions look like this:
– 8kw 273 50H V3 hub motor: 17″ x 3.5″ (Matched tire: 120/70/R17)
– 72v 100AH prismatic cells: 420 x 280 x 250mm
– Kelly Controller: 288 x 188 x 95mm
– 72 to 24V DC/DC: 182 x 50 x 32 mm
– 24 to 12V DC/DC: 90 x 50 x 33mm
