Started to mock-up the sub-frame for the charge point and battery cover. Still enjoying the physical CAD feeling. First stab works but feel that this is an ideal opportunity to make changes to the 3D surface formation that were mentioned in a previous post. Previous fixing points seem less physically stable than originally proposed so am switching to a new proposal of making some notched spacers with threads that I will eventually weld to the frame to ensure secure fixing of the charge point frame.
