After making a few mods to the battery/charge socket cover it became evident that there would be some extra space due to the re-shaping of surfaces. Great news is that there was enough to hold the rectangular BMS board so it looks that i’ll be using this one instead of the flatter square BMS. Rethinking other component layouts, I could probably locate the J1772 Active Vehicle Control Board-AVC2 into there too so it is close to the socket. Will have to make a plastic tray to adhere the parts on to and insulate them from the battery.
